Pneumology
One of the specific focuses of our practice is pediatric pneumology. The disease spectrum, which we are highly familiar with, ranges from bronchial asthma to rare interstitial lung diseases. We use a playful approach with the devices and already begin with the first lung function tests at preschool age. Children usually respond quite well to these tests, therefore leading to valuable results.
We pay particular attention to the right inhalation technique, while additionally providing an app-based medication reminder to achieve the best results through the ideal therapy.
In cooperation with other pediatric pneumologists and allergists, we regularly provide patient and parent training on various diseases such as bronchial asthma, neurodermatitis, and anaphylaxis. These training sessions help parents and patients understand the disease better. They can help reduce fears and uncertainties and promote natural handling of the disease, which measurably improves the quality of life.
